The Third Party Platform Business Director (f/m) owns the end-to-end relationship with strategic Partners to create breakthrough opportunities for COBI.Bike and Bosch eBike Systems and its Partner community. This role and their team is expected to develop a strong relationship with Third Party Partners and deliver vertical strategy and thought-leadership to create an industry leading Partner experience maintaining a consistent sense of satisfaction for the Partner to ultimately drive sales growth with COBI.Bike customers.
The Third Party Platform Business Director (f/m) will develop a team of Partner Managers who understand the organization, structure, and business model of Third Party partners and develops relationships with decision-makers, and technical/sales operatives to ensure efficient communication and productivity.
This individual will work cross-regionally and cross-functionally to provide creative business solutions, representing and evangelizing the COBI.Bike brand and its platform initiatives to our partners.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
Business and relationship management with our partners across a wide range of responsibilities
Interface and evangelist for COBI.Bike to our partners and for our partners within the business
Work with our Data and Strategy team to provide insights and intelligence to support the needs of the accounts
Working with the Account Executive to delivery partnerships as well as monitoring of progress
Support the Business Planning team to set partner goals, objectives, strategies and KPIs
Track and supervise partner product end to end life cycles, ensuring content meets technical and operational compliance
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Degree or similar preferred in Business, Economics, Marketing or equivalent
5+ years of progressively responsible business development and/or commercial experience within the entertainment, global electronics, technology/platform based business preferred.
Strong and demonstrable commercial and business acumen – financial and cost analysis expertise as well as strategic market research
An effective communicator, both written and verbal, who is used to dealing with challenging B2B customers as well as a wide array of departments from Legal, Finance to Marketing
Business development experience and solution oriented consulting experience
Strong project management experience, with the ability to lead multiple complex, time-sensitive, cross-discipline tasks
A highly enthusiastic, driven and motivated person who is results oriented and has worked in a cross-collaborative environment
Big plus: Existing network within the biking industry
